Job Description:
Alvarado Companies dba Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC seeking a Maintenance Facilities Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance associates, coaching and developing them to elevate their performance. This position oversees and conducts skilled and semi-skilled maintenance work. This position ensures maintenance and building support for interior and exterior. Knowledge of Commercial kitchen equipment, plumbing, ice machines a huge plus. 40 hour work week with rotating on call for nights and weekends (emergencies) Descriptions Supervises a team of hourly maintenance staff. Works with the necessary management team on all facility issues. Develops and elevates associate performance to support the company’s growth strategies. Researches and qualifies vendors for products or services needed in the building and evaluates their work to ensure the highest quality deliverables. Serves as the first responder to address mechanical issues in the building and ensures all repairs and maintenance are delivered in a timely fashion based on level of priority. Manages the following specialized maintenance needs such as pest control, back of house kitchen equipment, temperature, landscaping, and other necessities. Ensures maintenance and building support Works on special projects with the Building Ops Manager, such as creating and maintaining effective and cost-saving energy policies and practices. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred 3 years or more of HVAC experience Minimum three years of maintenance experience, preferably with prior supervisory experience Licensed, state or professional certification for major trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) required; working toward CRFP or equivalent certification Successful completion of annual store training Flexible to change planned priorities to address more urgent needs Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks on a daily basis. Ability to identify potential and existing problems Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to describe to manager work performed Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record Must pass Background check What we offer: Pay commensurate with experience Paid Holidays (Christmas and Thanksgiving) Medical plan, eligible to participate after 60 days and first of the month Paid vacation- 1 week after 1 year of continuous service Phone allowance Company will provide vehicle, gas card, credit card and tools when applicable.
