The Facilities Associate assists with the maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities by performing duties listed under Essential Responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: • Maintains building by performing general painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, boiler maintenance and other related maintenance activities • Oversees HVAC and makes minor repairs and conducts environmental monitoring • Notifies management when major repairs or additions are needed to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment • Maintains records on equipment to GLP Standards • Assists with the maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities Requirements: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with two to three year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Intermediate computer skills required including Word and Excel • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization • Strong customer service skills • The math skills required include, but are not limited to: the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Altasciences is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
